Jaipur is inspired by the “the pink city” of India, a colour scheme that’s enforced by local law and seen on every building in the city. In the late 1870’s, In order to impress the royal English family, the Maharaja of Jaipur painted the entire city pink as it was a color that represents welcoming and hospitality.
